Most big and tall tees are a medium’s pattern stretched until it covers you. This one was cut for the body it’s going on — straight through the chest, waist and hip, dropped shoulder, and a body long enough to stay put when you raise your arms.

This is a single production run. When a size is gone, it’s gone — the next run will be built around what this one tells us.

Fabric & construction

• 210 GSM (6.2 oz) 100% cotton single jersey — finished weight. Measured after washing and finishing, so it is the weight that arrives in your hands. Substantial enough to hang straight, light enough to wear in July.
• 20/1 combed ringspun yarn. Combing removes the short fibers before spinning, so it’s smoother and pills far less than the carded cotton most big and tall basics use.
• Compacted and enzyme washed. Compacting shrinks the fabric before it is cut, which is why this tee moves about 4% after three hot washes instead of the 7 to 8% a non-compacted jersey gives up. Enzyme washing makes it soft from the first wear, not after ten.
• Shrinkage: about 4% after three hot washes. Roughly 1½ inches off a 35-inch body. If you are between sizes and you machine dry, take the larger one.
• Taped shoulder seam. A woven tape sewn across both shoulders so the neckline keeps its shape instead of stretching into a funnel.
• 1-inch ribbed collar. Deep enough to hold, not so deep it looks like a uniform.
• Left chest patch pocket. Stitched, not printed.
• Straight body. Chest, waist and hip measure the same at every size — no taper to fight.
• Made in Pakistan. 100% cotton. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Ask most big and tall brands how long the shirt is and you won’t get an answer. The largest specialty retailer in the country publishes neck, sleeve and chest — and leaves body length off the chart entirely. For a tall guy, body length is the only number that matters.

The reliable way to pick. Lay a tee you already own flat, measure straight across the chest one inch below the armholes, and double it. Find the closest figure in the Chest, garment row. Then check body length against that same shirt — if yours rides up, add an inch.

Big or Tall? Big sizes add width faster than length — choose those if your current tees are long enough. Tall sizes add length and keep the width closer — choose those if shirts fit across the chest but ride up or expose your back when you reach. If both apply, go Tall and size up one step.

All measurements taken flat, tolerance ±½ inch.
